Engine Overview

The Nissan YD25 is a 2.5-litre turbo-diesel engine designed to provide strong torque, dependable performance and practical fuel efficiency. It is commonly used in Nissan utility vehicles that require reliable power for daily driving, commercial work, towing and off-road applications. This brand new OEM engine is suitable for vehicle owners, workshops, fleet operators and repair centres looking for a replacement engine for a Nissan vehicle originally fitted with the matching YD25 engine specification.

Compatibility and Fitment

Not every Nissan YD25 engine is identical or directly interchangeable. Different versions were used across selected Nissan Navara, NP300 and related Nissan models. Differences may exist in the turbocharger, injectors, fuel system, intake system, wiring, sensors, ECU setup, emissions equipment, sump, engine mounts, gearbox connection and supplied accessories. Please provide the vehicle VIN, year model, exact vehicle model, existing engine code, gearbox type and photographs of the current engine before purchasing. LRD Pretoria will use this information to help confirm whether the available engine is suitable for your vehicle.

Brand New OEM Engine

This product is advertised as a brand new OEM replacement engine rather than a used imported engine. OEM refers to an engine manufactured according to the original equipment specifications required for the intended vehicle application. The exact manufacturer information, OEM part number, engine configuration and packaging must be confirmed against the physical unit available before payment.

What May Be Included?

The engine may be supplied as a complete engine, long block or another OEM configuration depending on the exact unit currently in stock. External components that may or may not be included can include:

• Turbocharger
• Fuel injectors
• High-pressure fuel pump
• Intake manifold
• Exhaust manifold
• Starter motor
• Alternator
• Air-conditioning pump
• Wiring and sensors

The supplied engine configuration and all included components must be confirmed with LRD Pretoria before payment because individual units can differ.

Pricing and Stock Availability

Pricing and availability depend on the exact brand new OEM YD25 engine currently in stock. Contact LRD Pretoria for the latest price, OEM part information, supplied configuration, included components and warranty requirements before placing an order. You can also browse the main engine brands and available stock section for more replacement engine options.

Nationwide Delivery

LRD Pretoria can arrange engine delivery to customers, workshops and repair centres across South Africa. Delivery cost and timing depend on the destination, engine size, supplied configuration, stock location and courier requirements.

Installation Requirements

The engine must be installed by a qualified automotive workshop or diesel-engine specialist. The cooling system, lubrication system, turbocharger system, fuel system, injectors, wiring and related supporting components must be inspected before installation. Any installation and documentation requirements contained in the LRD Pretoria terms and conditions must be followed for the engine guarantee to remain valid.

Important Before Ordering

Confirm the exact YD25 engine specification using the existing engine identification, vehicle VIN and vehicle records. Do not order using the Nissan Navara model name or 2.5-litre engine capacity alone. Different YD25 versions may use different electronics, injectors, turbochargers, sumps, mountings, gearbox connections and emissions components. Correct identification is essential before installation.
